Dickie Sr. was of Pentecostal faith. He loved spending time with his wife Vickie and their 6 children Veronica, Brandy, Cecelia, Heather, Dickie Jr., and Cheyenne while going for walks, riding bikes, playing games, riding go-carts, going camping, and having cookouts at the lake. He worked on small engine repairs with his brother Donnie. He worked at McDaniel Firestone.
