Fred Leon Gibbon, 60, of Duncan passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 in the Duncan Regional Hospital. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Friday in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Fred was born January 29, 1961 in Obregon, Mexico the son of Alejandro Palmares and Elena Fernandez. He graduated from the Pernell High School in Pernell, Oklahoma in 1980. He attended the Red River Area Votec where here trained as a brick mason and oilfield rig hand. He enjoyed playing poker with his friends, watching the Oklahoma Sooners play football and especially love spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death his parents. How do you honor a man that touched so many lives? Freddy could always be found at his car wash with a smile on his face. He loved people and loved life. Everyone who met him loved him. Always know as Freddy the detail man you were loved and will be missed by all. Survivors include his children Flint Gibbon and his wife Nicole of Duncan, Oklahoma, Sierra Trotter and husband Daniel of Edmond, Oklahoma and Dr. Jordan Gibbon of Duncan, Oklahoma; his grandchildren Delaney Gibbon, Brixton Gibbon and Judah Trotter and many family members still living in Mexico.
