William Edward Monahan

William Edward "Bill" Monahan, 74, of Loco passed away Saturday, February 12th, 2011in the Select Specialty Hospital in Oklahoma City. Visitation will be held from 9 - 4 at the funeral home on Wednesday and Thursday with a private family memorial service held at a later date. Bill was born Febraurya 1, 1937 at Lakewood, New Jersey the son of Fred and Edith Dawns Monahan. he and Martha Lacey were married at Salome, Arizona on July 3, 1955. He enjoyed Gardening, fishing and hunting. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Ricky Monahan, a daughter Martha Monahan and 10 brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife Martha of the home in Loco; four daughters Edith Monahan of Port Angeles, Washington, Bonnie Hall and her husband Adam of San Bernardino, California, Kathleen Bryan and her husband Steve of Marrysville, Washington and Elizabeth Granlund and her husband Mark of Velma, Ok; a son William Monahan, Jr. of Soledad, California; a brother David Monahan of Lakehurst, New Jersey; a sister Beatie Ford of Lakehurst, New Jersey; 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
