Adan Puertas Morales, 66, of Duncan passed away Saturday, February 23rd, 2013 in the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday in the Ray of Hope Church with Reverend Ray Ledbetter and Reverend Dow Pannell officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Wednesday. Adan was born in San Pedro Chihuahua, Mexico on December 10, 1946 the son of Gabriel and Eloisa (Puertas) Morales. He and Iris Fleetwood were married June 5, 1975 at Kermit, Texas. He retired from the City of Duncan Street Department in 2002 and worked for the Great Plains Rent-All until 2007 when he retired to rest and spend time with his family. He was a faithful member of the Gospel Beams Church and loved driving the church van. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, working in his garden, reading his Bible but most especially he loved the time he spent with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters. Survivors include his wife Iris Morales of the home in Duncan; his son Antonio Morales of Duncan; his daughter Amy Dawn Ralls and her husband Corey of Duncan; a brother Nichols Morales of Socorro, New Mexico; sisters Catalina Carrasco of Midland, Texas and Berta Hernandez of Chihuahua, Mexico; four grandchildren MeKayla Ralls, C.J. Ralls, Abi Ralls and Adan Ralls; an adopted daughter Rebekah Houston and her husband Paul of Cortez, Colorado as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be Todd Clark, Cesar Herrera, Jesus Herrera, Manuel Herrera, Roberto Jump, Richey Morales, and Leland Morris Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Burt, Ricky Carrasco, Sergio Carrasco, Servando Carrasco, Mario Herrera, Paul Houston, and Corey Ralls Memorial contributions may be made to Gospel Beams Youth Ministry in his honor.
