Bert Allen Sherwin

Bert Allen Sherwin, 56, of Duncan passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in the Duncan Regional Hospital. There will be no Visitation at the Funeral Home. He will be entombed with his mother in Mississippi. Bert was born November 21, 1958 at New Orleans, Louisiana the son of Douglas Sherwin, Sr. and Pearl (Martin) Sherwin. He worked for Halliburton Energy Service for over 37 years with the last several yeas spent as a Technical Instructor. He loved fishing, camping, hunting, watching football and sharing his knowledge just to name a few. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his sister Alison Watts of Laurel, Mississippi; three brothers Douglas Sherwin, Jr. and his wife Marcella of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Donald Sherwin and his wife Rhonda of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi and Bryan Sherwin and his wife Doris of Gulf Port Mississippi as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
