Bobby Joe Hickman

Bobby Joe Hickman, 73, of Duncan, Oklahoma passed from this life Friday, April 3, 2026 into the arms of Jesus. Bobby was born February 21, 1953 in Duncan, Oklahoma to L.B. and Dolly Trent Hickman. He graduated from the Duncan High School in 1972 and attended the Oklahoma State University. He loved fishing with his best buddies and brother Archie, traveling the back roads and anything related to OU sprots.

He was preceded in death by his parents L.B. Hickman and Dolly Hickman Kennedy, sister Debra Hickman Brock and brothers Larry and Archie.

The friendships he kept close to his heart from childhood until the end ran deep. Mike Grantham, Mike Carter, Brad and Paul McElroy, thank you for being there until the end.

Survivors include his pride and joy, his children and grandchildren Misty (Pat) Ashley and their children Brendan Bashaw and Cayden Ethridge, Shawn (Cheri) Hickman and their children Mazi Joslin, Tatianna Joslin, Tre Joslin, Hunter Hickman and Kristina Hickman, Lance (Michelle) Hickman and their Children Gordan Jablonski, Gabriella Jablonski, Ashton Hickman and Cali Hickman and Coty (Savannah) Hickman and their son Oliver Hickman and sisters Shirley (Jimmy ) White, Carole (Randall) Scott, Robin (Eric) Troutman, Diane (Mike) Faulkner and Brenda Phillips.

A special thank you to Leticia, Bridget, Pete, Dr. Hurst, Dr. Vonfeldt of the Chisholm Trial Hospice. What an amazing Team you are. Thank you to the Duncan Regional 3rd Floor nurses.

Arrangements were handled by the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
