Carolyn Crowder

Carolyn Ann Crowder, 78, of Duncan, Oklahoma passed from this life Thursday, February 13, 2025 in the Duncan Regional Hospital.

Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home with Reverend John Croy officiating. Interment will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Carolyn was born January 17, 1947 in Duncan, Oklahoma the daughter of Sam and Winnie Davoult. She married Thurman Morris and he preceded her in death December 13, 1998. She and Jim Crowder were married April 11, 2003 in Duncan, Oklahoma. She worked 35 years for the Lahey's Nursing Home which became the Wilkins Nursing and Rehabilitation as a nurses aide. She was a faithful church member who loved everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Francis Melott and Ruth Gipson and brother RJ Walker.

Survivors include her husband Jim Crowder of the home in Duncan, Oklahoma and nephew Clarence Melott of Duncan, Oklahoma as well as other relatives and friends.
