David Elam

March 4, 1948 — November 21, 2025

David Lynn Elam, born in 1948 to Gladys Marie and Edwin Elam, passed away peacefully in November 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

David lived a life marked by quiet strength, unwavering loyalty, and a gentle humor that made ordinary days feel lighter. After attending the University of Oklahoma, he earned a degree in Business Administration and went on to build a distinguished 31-year career with the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission. At OESC, he was known for his dedication, steady leadership, and genuine care for the people he worked alongside and served.

David leaves behind a legacy grounded in kindness, steady guidance, and an abiding love for his family. He is survived by his "favorite wife," Jennifer Elam, who was his partner, and constant source of joy. He is also survived by his three children, Darrien Pardon and husband Holden, Jackson Thomas and wife Taylor, and Devin Elam of the home, each of whom carries forward his strength and humor.

Among his greatest joys were his grandsons, Kyle David and Keagan James Pardon, who brought pride to his life in countless ways. David is also survived by his nephew Terry Clement and wife Alexis, his niece Olivia Clement of Mustang, Oklahoma, along with nephew and namesake Thomas David Clement of Arkansas, all of whom he cherished deeply.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, baby Thomas and baby Pardon.

David's life was shaped by compassion, humility, and a steadfast devotion to his wife and family. He leaves behind a family who adored "Big Daddy," friends who respected him, and memories that will continue to comfort all who knew him. His presence will be profoundly missed, but the warmth of his spirit remains with us always.
