Jesus Delgado

Jesus Delgado, 87, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at his residence in Duncan.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Assumption Catholic Church with Father Don Wolf officiating. Interment will follow at Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.

Viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home Chapel. A Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Jesus was born on February 21, 1939, in Villa Coronado, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Aureo Delgado and Maria Asuncion Bailon. He married Maria del Rosario on May 18, 1970, in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Jesus enjoyed camping, visiting lakes, hiking, and especially riding motorcycles. He was a devoted member of Assumption Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Delgado; daughters, Marisela Martinez and husband Edgar Martinez, and Delia Santana and husband Orlando Santana; and son, Mario Delgado and wife Lidia Delgado. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jazmin Ortiz, Andrew Delgado, Jocelyn Juarez, Alondra Ontiveros, Celeste Johnson, Matthew Delgado, Edgar Martinez Jr., Samantha Martinez, Christopher Santana, and David Santana.
