Joe Fambrough

Joe Claud Fambrough, Sr., 77, of Duncan passed from this life Friday, February 15, 2025 in the Wilkins Nursing and Rehabilitation in Duncan, Oklahoma.

Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, February 20, 2025 in thew Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church with Reverend Lance Smith officiating. Interment will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 25, 2025 in the Ft. Sill National Veterans Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4-6 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Joe was born May 4, 1947 in Amarillo, Texas the son of Garland "Whitey" and Emily Jewel (Chafin) Fambrough. He graduated from the Central High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was raised in Sperry, Oklahoma. He worked TOCO Oil Company in Tulsa, Oklahoma as an oilfield pumper and worked as a musician for multiple bands over the years. He enjoyed Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his fiancée Tana Brooks of Comanche, Oklahoma; sons Joe Claud Fambrough, Jr. of Tucson, Arizona and Jud Clay Fambrough of Darby, Montana.

Pallbearers will be Duke Trimble, Kevin Salazar, Joe Davis, Jimmy Johnson, Jeff Chaffen and Raymond Kapping.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Hopkins, Gary Woolwine, Dakota Pannell.
