Larry Long

Larry Long, 77, of Duncan, Oklahoma passed from this life Sunday, February 2, 2025 in the Callaway Nursing Center in Sulphur, Oklahoma.

Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 11, 2025 in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home Chapel with Ladd Polk officiating.

There will be no viewing at the funeral home.

Lary was born September 19, 1947 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma the son of Bob and Mona (Brown) Long. He worked as a carpet installer for Carpet Outlet and Allisons Flooring for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his sons Christopher Long and Steven Long both of Bakersfield, California and Larry Long of Duncan, Oklahoma; daughter Cheri (Long) Anderson and husband Scott of Lawton, Oklahoma; grandchildren Maci Strunk, Cody Anderson, Destyne Anderson and Robert Long; sibling Mona Diana McGee and husband Carl of California as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
