Lois Christine (Franklin) Moore Swanson, 72, of Duncan, Oklahoma passed from this life into the arms of her Lord and Savior December 2, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.
Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday in the Ray of Hope Church with Reverend Mike McCord officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.
There will be no viewing at the funeral home.
Christine was born January 27, 1950 in Duncan, Oklahoma the daughter of Richard and Lois Mae (Etier) Franklin. She and R.B. Moore were married at Henrietta, Texas on December 30, 1986 and he preceded her in death on January 6, 2021. She later married Clinton Butch Swanson in Duncan, Oklahoma on August 16, 2022. She enjoyed camping, dancing, crocheting, hunting, fishing and spending time with her family. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband Clinton Butch Swanson of the home in Duncan, Oklahoma; children Richie Inman and wife Hope of Moore, Oklahoma, Tina Miller of Duncan, Oklahoma, Russell Moore and wife Cassie of Duncan, Oklahoma, Becky Wilkinson of Friendswood, Texas, Jeff Swanson and wife Sheila of Tuttle, Oklahoma, Jarrel Swanson of Duncan, Oklahoma and Justin Swanson and wife Mary of Duncan, Oklahoma; grandchildren Dylan Lane, Conner Lane, Amber Lane, Sylvia Knott, Jeanette Putney, Nathan Wilkinson, Lana and Mike Barajas, Sarah and Kenny Taylor, Blaine Hillin, Kate Hillin, Makayla Bayones, Roper Swanson, Brandon Swanson, Clint Swanson, Bailey Swanson, Blake Swanson, and DeLayna Trusty; numerous great grandchildren; special nieces Kelly Franklin and Stephanie Joshi both of Moore, Oklahoma; her sister Rickie Wagoner and husband Larry of Branson, Missouri; her brother Lane Franklin and wife Jan of Branson, Missouri and special friend Kristy Butler.
Pallbearers will be Brian Stogsdill, Bryan Fisher, Mark Carr, David Montgomery, Ronnie Williams and Jack Everett.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the Chisholm Trail Hospice and especially Dawn Osborn, RN.
