Nadine Estelle Williamson was born April 10, 1932 in rural Stephens County to Frank and Mae (Selph) David. She went to her heavenly home on Friday, January 13, 2023 at the age of 90.


She attended schools at Center Grove and Velma-Alma. She married Floyd Williamson in Wichita Falls, TX. He preceded her in death in 1979. Together they had two children, James (Jim) and Gayle. They lived in Duncan, Oklahoma most of their married life but spent 3 years living in Oberlin, KS. and 3 years in Pratt, KS, before returning to Duncan, OK, in 1967. Nadine remained in Duncan the rest of her life. Nadine worked at Hagger Mfg. for 12 years, and continued her career at Halliburton Services for 19 years. She retired in 1999. Nadine was a longtime member of Eastside Church of Christ. Her faith was important to her and she was a devoted Christian.


She loved spending time with her 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. They always looked forward to going to their Mamaw's house. She always had time for them and enjoyed playing games and whatever else they wanted to do. She also enjoyed getting together with her church friends to play cards on a weekly basis.


Nadine is survived by her daughter, Gayle Manley, of Duncan; Grandchildren ; Laura NesSmith, Shannon Wickersham, Jason Vaughn, Dawn Herren Holder, Chad Williamson, Angela Williamson and Sara Williamson; and 11 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mae David; her sister, Retha McCuistion; her husband, Floyd Williamson; and son, Jim Williamson.


Nadine was a joy to this world. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all of her friends and family.


Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home Chapel with Ron Stough officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Cemetery.


The family will receive friends for visitation from 4-6 PM on Monday.
