Wyva June McEntire

Wyva June McEntire, 83, of Comanche, Oklahoma passed from this life Sunday, April 26, 2026 in the Mercy Healdton in Healdton, Oklahoma.

Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, May 4, 2026 in the Ray of Hope Church with Reverend Mike McCord officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 4-6 PM on Sunday.

Wyva was born September 8, 1942 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the daughter of Haskell William and Rachel Obera (Riddles) Whitlock. She and Jerry Broden were married in Comanche, Oklahoma on February 14, 1959 and he preceded her in death on March 29, 1999. She worked at Whites Dairy Queen, Delbert's Grocery Store, Haggar Slacks and BB's Dress Shop. She enjoyed collecting pigs, reading her bible and she was known as the bead lady for the jewelry she made. She was a member of the Ray Of Hope Church.

Survivors include her daughter Darwina Broden of Comanche, Oklahoma; son Mickey G Broden and wife Pam of Duncan, Oklahoma; grandchildren Mickey Todd Churchman and wife Amanda of Empire, Oklahoma, McKotah Smith and wife Kayse of Healdton, Oklahoma and Kaleb Broden of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; great grandchildren Bralen Churchman, Bryce Churchman and Gage Owens.
